Job Title: Punch Press Set up Operator
Pay: $19 - $22

Shift: 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm

Job Summary: A Punch Press Set Up Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machines used to cut, shape, or form metal and other materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of parts during production to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate a hand jack as part of material handling procedures.
- Adhere to the company’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policy at all times.
- Meet production targets as specified in pieces per hour.
- Adhere to the company’s Safety Policy at all times.
- Receive training on the proper use of a caliber, micrometer, and blue prints.
- Possess a basic understanding of mathematical concepts related to measurements.
- Read and interpret shop orders with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate production processes and specifications are followed.
- Perform computerized set ups.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
Requirements:
- Must have minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Must have punch press set up experience.
- Prefer someone who knows how to troubleshoot dyes.
- Prefer someone who knows SmartPac.
- Prefer someone who has experience working on a stand-up forklift.
- Prefer someone who has experience operating a crane.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand 8 hours in a day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
