Summary: The Financial Planning Specialist will collaborate with our Planning Team and Senior Advisors to develop customized Financial Plans. This role will play a vital part in our planning process to help our clients achieve their goals by analyzing cash flow, developing retirement projections, assessing risk management needs, coordinating their estate plan and other complex planning techniques. Additionally, the FPS will work with our Investment and Trading team to analyze and develop customized investment portfolios.
JJ Burns & Company is looking for an experienced candidate who is highly motivated, has a strong attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and can work independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze client data to assess financial planning gaps
- Develop customized and comprehensive financial plans
- Consult with Advisors and planners on complex financial planning scenarios
- Conduct training for planners and Advisors on financial planning topics and changes to legislature
Knowledge, Skills, and Core Strengths:
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills with the ability to present
- Highly motivated, takes initiative, and collaborative team player; strong desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning
- Ability to adapt quickly within an evolving firm and industry
Qualifications:
- CFP® certification required.
- 5 Years experience
- Experience with financial planning software preferred (eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro)
