What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Retail Manager, you’ll oversee every aspect of store operations, from team leadership to maintaining profitability. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
- Create a Welcoming Environment: Greet and assist customers while addressing inquiries, needs, and concerns promptly.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Handle complaints professionally and ensure timely resolutions.
- Lead the Team: Recruit, hire, train, and motivate employees—including Managers in Training—while holding the team accountable to company standards.
- Set the Standard: Enforce daily operating procedures to keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Drive Sales Excellence: Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively, priced correctly, and adjusted according to promotions and changes.
- Manage Inventory and Costs: Monitor inventory levels, prevent shrinkage, and control labor and other expenses to maintain store profitability.
- Oversee Reporting: Complete daily paperwork, monitor cash overages/shortages, and submit gasoline competitor pricing.
- Promote Safety and Policy Compliance: Address and report incidents or accidents according to company policies.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with the experience and drive to lead a successful team. You’ll need:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Certifications: ServSafe® certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: 2 years of management experience and previous retail experience preferred.
- Leadership Skills: A strong ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable to ensure excellent customer service and operational standards.
