Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and ensure the successful development and delivery of high-quality, reliable systems that meet both customer needs and business goals.

Location : Northern California. The company will assist with relocation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead cross-functional teams in defining system requirements, architecture, and functional decomposition.
  • Apply systems engineering principles to develop cost-effective solutions with a focus on reliability, safety, and performance.
  • Guide system integration and verification processes, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices in systems engineering, usability, and reliability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in systems engineering, including experience with complex systems that combine software, hardware, and fluidic subsystems.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, system modeling, and customer-focused design.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Experience in a regulated environment, including ISO and risk management standards.
  • Familiarity with product development processes in the medical or biotech industries.
  • Expertise in system integration, statistical methods, and human factors engineering.
