General Summary
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements, and other services performed.
- Prepares reports, develops quality plans, attends meetings as directed; performs other duties as assigned.
- Checks randomly selected samples, and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Schedule inspection activities.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning and safety procedures with skills in conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard testing tools.
- ISO Lead Auditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice regulations and codes.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Work Experience
- Up to 2 years of experience of Quality control or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to understand technical and process-based aspects of the services we provide.
Education, Licenses and Certification Required:
- High School Diploma
- OSHA Certification
