I. Position Summary
The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the optimal functionality of all PCs, printers, copiers, fax machines, mobile devices, and other peripheral equipment. This role supports the technical needs of staff across all locations and performs a wide range of tasks to ensure reliable IT operations in line with departmental and organizational requirements.
II. General Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCs and associated equipment.
- Maintain and service printers, copy machines, and fax machines.
- Maintain inventory of printer cartridges, maintenance kits, and spare parts.
- Assist in the setup of new PCs and reconfiguration of existing systems as required.
- Set up and support iPhone and Android mobile devices.
- Ensure availability of essential IT supplies, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Maintain responsible handling and tracking of all IT assets.
- Travel to other locations/sites as necessary to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
III. Measures of Accountability
- Ensure all hardware, software, and peripheral devices operate at peak efficiency.
- Respond promptly to user support requests, resolving issues in-house whenever possible before escalating to external vendors.
- Demonstrate ongoing expertise and familiarity with PC hardware, software, and peripheral systems.
- Maintain and support Microsoft Access databases as needed.
IV. Hiring Specifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or related field.
- Associate degree (AAS) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Certification required.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware components, operating systems, and general software troubleshooting.
- Solid grasp of IP-based networks and network communication protocols.
- Experience with common business applications, utilities, and access database support.
- Proficiency with PC imaging and cloning utilities.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools (preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
