PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
J.J.O. Construction was founded in 1993 and is a leading general contractor with offices in Cleveland, Ohio and Austin (Lakeway), Texas. We specialize in new construction and remodeling in the commercial market. We have grown and expanded to provide services nationwide.
We have an immediate opening for a Project Management Assistant to join our talented team and work from our Austin, TX office.
The Project Management Assistant is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day activities and providing support to Project Management and Superintendents with accurate and timely processing of client contracts, client billings, subcontracts, subcontract invoices and other necessary administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain electronic project files
Prepare, distribute, and track client contracts
Prepare, distribute, and track subcontracts and purchase orders
Assist in client and subcontractor billing process
Prepare and distribute lien waivers
Maintain communication and assist field employees
Other Responsibilities As Assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office products, and the ability to quickly learn trade-related accounting software. Knowledge of Sage 100 Contractor is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with all personnel levels, clients, and subcontractors
Ability to handle multiple priorities, duties, and projects
Ability to adjust priorities on short notice, manage interruptions and work well under pressure
Ability to stay focused and work without close supervision
Highly organized and detail oriented
3 years of related experience, preferably in construction
