Duties

• Assist customers with finding products and answering questions
• Load and unload materials in the yard, including lumber, concrete, and other heavy items
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard and store
• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided)
• Restock shelves and ensure proper inventory levels
• Cleaning yard & shop facilities
• Spraying weeds
• Maintenance facilities & equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
• Friendly and helpful attitude with strong customer service skills
• Willingness to learn about hardware products and building materials
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in retail, hardware, or yard work is a plus but not required

• General knowledge of maintenance with facilities, small rental equipment, lumber, power tools, and safe work environments
