Job Title: 1st Shift - Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the outbound fleet is loaded and prepped for their day on the road in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves using our in-house scanning software to ensure JK Logix and its customers remain compliant. Please note that this is an early morning position starting at 5:00 AM and continuing until the workday is finished. The end time may vary based on company needs and the volume of outbound orders.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Loading Packages: Assist with loading packages onto each vehicle and verify that orders are loaded safely and timely.
- Scanning METRC Tags: Scan METRC tags associated with each order on the manifest to ensure accuracy and correct sequence.
- Communication: Communicate with the field team to provide answers/solutions through problem-solving and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Package Management: Identify any missing, lost, or damaged packages and notify management.
- Organizing Totes: After loading trucks, assist with sorting and organizing totes for return to their respective companies.
- Additional Duties: Perform any additional operational duties as assigned by the manager or Director of Operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills – teamwork is essential for an organized warehouse.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer service mentality – ensure care of our customers’ items.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a morning person.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must not be employed by any other cannabis company.
- Must not have been convicted of a felony in the last 5 years.
- Must not have been convicted of a misdemeanor involving a controlled substance in the last 5 years.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
