Design Associate

With a commitment to craftsmanship and design excellence, we are seeking a talented Interior Design Associate to join our team.

Position Overview:

As an Interior Design Associate at JK Monarch, you will play a vital role in creating stunning interior spaces that reflect our clients' preferences and lifestyles. Your passion for interior design, attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and dedication to being a team player are key attributes we are seeking.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Design & Client Experience Manager to create design concepts and plans for residential projects.
• Work directly with clients during entire build process.
• Assist in selecting interior & exterior home finishes and materials along with color palettes to meet client specifications and design goals.
• Generate buyer upgrades & selections forms.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with project coordination and site visits as needed.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to guarantee the highest level of quality in design execution.
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure seamless integration of design elements into construction plans.
• Use Buildertrend software to communicate with trades and superintendents during build process.
• Stage of spec homes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field preferred.
• Proven interior design experience, preferably in residential projects.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for design aesthetics.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Dedication to working collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Bluebeam, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving design trends and technologies.
