What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at JKL Corporation?
COMPANY:
JKL Corporation is an established real estate management company operating primarily from the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 1978, we have professionally managed a diverse portfolio of institutional quality multifamily apartment, office, and R&D projects.
We are currently looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our accounting team at our office in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Payroll Processing (Paychecks and Payroll Taxes)
- Performing month-end closings
- Maintain company files
- Process sick leave and vacation requests
- Payroll filing to IRS and EDD
- Annual Workers' Compensation payroll audits
- Assisting the other accounting staff as necessary
- Doing bank deposit
Education and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience with Accounting / Bookkeeping
- Proficient with Quickbooks & Excel
- MS Windows, Office, & general computer knowledge
- Detail Oriented
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $25-$40/hour
