Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Backend Engineer with expertise in Python, Golang, and cloud-based microservices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about LLM, NLP, vector search technologies, and cloud deployments. If you have hands-on experience with FastAPI, Azure, and Kubernetes, this is an exciting opportunity to work on AI-driven applications in a cutting-edge environment.
Location: Shelton, CT (4-Day Hybrid)
Work Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote
Employment Type: Open to W2 & C2C candidates (Applicants willing to work on W2 will be given high preference.)
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services using Python (FastAPI) and Golang.
LLM & NLP Integration: Implement LLM/NLP solutions using frameworks like spaCy, Transformers, or NLTK.
Vector Search & AI: Work with vector search algorithms and databases like Azure Vector DB or FAISS.
API Development & Integration: Design and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
Cloud & Microservices: Deploy, manage, and scale microservices architecture on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and integrate with Azure OpenAI, Event Grid, and other cloud services.
Database Management: Work with MongoDB, NoSQL, and vector-based databases to store and process large datasets efficiently.
Agile Collaboration: Work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and deployment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with shipping APIs and logistics workflows.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams integrations and Edge plugins.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex AI and backend challenges.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience in AI, ML, backend development, or cloud computing is also accepted.
