JLC-Tech is a family-run lighting company that is expanding, and we’d like you to join us on our extraordinary journey! JLC-Tech develops innovative LED lighting products and supplies our products to the high-end commercial architectural industry.
We are seeking a highly organized, responsive & detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow. A proactive, positive attitude and the willingness to collaborate with customers, your team and cross-functionally across the organization will be the keys to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Communicate via email & phone with external & internal customers
- Sales Order Processing: Review new purchase orders against quotations & resolve discrepancies, obtain production lead times, enter orders into QuickBooks
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and production teams-be a team player
- Documentation: Accurately follow existing standard operating procedures and methodologies
- Technical Support: Become an expert on JLC-Tech products. Provide general technical support to manufacturers’ representatives, specifiers, distributors, electricians, and other customers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (email & phone)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel & Outlook.
- The desire to learn and grow with the organization
Desired Attributes:
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in customer service or sales support roles
- Quick Books & Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Lighting experience is a plus
