Responsible for the firm's general accounting procedures to maintain a healthy financial profile while ensuring adherence to general accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Informative, easily understood, timely, and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financials, annual budget, tax returns, and annual reviews to ensure financial integrity.
• Provide financial analysis within the organization to assist decision making.
• Customize data prepared to align with firm needs and vision for interpretation and use.
• Oversee appropriate dissemination of information to outside agencies that assist with tax reporting and other auditing and reporting needs.
• Sufficient cashflow cost management.
• Reconcile bank accounts to monitor daily cash position.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments, accuracy, and ensure internal controls are in place.
• Analyze client billable rates in comparison to labor cost to meet financial budget and goals.
• Comply with required government reporting for tax liability and plan administration.
• Reduce risk by creating and administering policy and procedures.
• Decrease project risk by managing certificates of insurance and liability claims.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of an Associates degree and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll
• Deadline-orientated with strong attention to detail, and ability to critically analyze data and circumstances
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Proficient in use of MS office suite, including Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills
