JLG Architects is seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to join our Board of Directors. As a Board member, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding our strategic direction and supporting a culture of excellence.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Serve as a key member of JLG Architects Board of Directors providing advice and guidance to executive leadership of the firm.
- Act as a thought leader setting strategic vision for the company.
- Offer expertise in scaling businesses and navigating the challenges of organizational growth.
- Provide an external perspective to identify opportunities for growth, market expansion, and innovation.
- May sit on one or multiple board of director committees.
- Attend quarterly meetings, and ad-hoc monthly sessions as required.
- Prepare for and engage thoughtfully with meeting materials to ensure effective contributions.
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree)
- Experience scaling companies
- Experience working with organizations of 500 employees
- Strategic, C-suite mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs)
- A/E/C company experience would be beneficial
- Architectural license

Compensation: $5000 Retainer and $1000 per meeting.
Time Commitment: 4 meetings per year. If on a committee, they may meet 1x per month.
