Project Technician I’s are the front line of the production process. They work quickly and efficiently in documentation to translate the design into constructable solutions. Assisting the Project Designer and Project Architect through accurate documentation, they are responsible for supporting the successful outcome of the design.

Responsibilities
- Work with Project Designers and Project Architects to establish a clean model for continued documentation.
- Assist in advancing redlined work to completion and self-review of work before submittal.
- Ability to work in team sizes of 8-10, including consultants, to translate the design into clear and constructible documents.
- Support effective consultant coordination milestones and timelines through identification of model clashes.
- Provide effective verbal, graphic and written communication laterally and vertically with project teams.
- Support project deliverables by establishing a baseline knowledge of JLG production standards with a strong focus on building code and detailing.
- Support solutions to problems that maintain the design intent, are code compliant, and demonstrate a full understanding of best construction practices.
- Assist Construction Services Specialists through Construction Administration phase documentation needs.
- Establish a baseline knowledge of sustainability software and support sustainability goals for projects through expert knowledge of assemblies, exterior detailing, and high-performance testing results in post occupancy.
- PTI’s conduct themselves with utmost integrity and set an example of JLG’er behavior. They complete work in a timely fashion at the highest standards of quality.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Post-secondary technical degree.
- Baseline knowledge of building codes and building science.
Preferred
- Ability to provide job functions on projects up to $30 M.
- Baseline knowledge of project budget management.
