Job Description
- Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
- Assist with the installation and repair piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors (single & two speed); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.
- Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.
- Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Documents all work in the CMMS system.
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
- Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- Experience with a CMMS system, a must
- Previous clean room experience, GMP or ISO knowledge, desired.
- Experience beyond construction style electrical work is a must, this could include trouble shooting of VFDs, Building automation devices like damper actuators, valve actuators and sensors.
- Experience as an electromechanical technician, desired.
- Massachusetts Journeyman or master Electrical License.
- Valid Driver’s License

- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

HOURS
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of JLL time and attendance policy and/or client operating hours.
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
- Must be able to support nights, weekends and holidays as directed by work shift assigned.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
