Check out what you will be doing:
- Keep building systems running smoothly (mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.)
- Handle facility services, preventive maintenance, and purchasing
- Clean, inspect, and repair HVAC systems
- Take equipment readings and make adjustments
- Follow safety rules for handling hazardous materials
- Keep track of tools and equipment
- Check on outside contractor work quality and pricing
- Be physically fit for various positions and movements on the job
- Work in different weather conditions and times of day as needed
Who are we looking for?
Required
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2 years' experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
- Ability to analyze the operation of various Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- EPA Universal Certification
- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) experience
- Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC
