You will be responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and repairing various measurement and test equipment used in our facilities and those of our clients. You will ensure that all instruments meet required accuracy standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

What is your day to day?
- Perform calibrations on a variety of measurement and test equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental instruments.
- Follow established calibration procedures and standards in accordance with industry regulations and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of calibration activities and equipment history.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing measurement and test equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely calibration of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Stay informed about industry standards and best practices in calibration.
- Contribute to the improvement of calibration processes and procedures.
- Adhere to calibration schedules and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding calibration requirements and equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Desired experience and technical skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration of measurement and test equipment.
- Good understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and other relevant industry regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency in using calibration software and database management systems.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 15% travel may be required).
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Metrology, or related field
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
