What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility & Lab Concierge position at JLL?
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting guests: Welcome guests and create a positive first impression

- Front Desk Oversight: welcome customers and visitors and create a positive first impression
- Provide Recommendations: Offer specific, service recommendations for support
- Manage Deliveries: Act as back up support for mailroom, oversee deliveries and sign for incoming packages
- Resolve Issues: Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner related to facilities and laboratory services.
- Manage inventory of supplies, chemicals, and materials for the lab and maintenance team
- Participate in regular lab walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and organization needs are met
- Support the Facilities Team in coordinating maintenance activities and scheduling
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers, including escorting when necessary
- Assist with recordkeeping and data entry
- Handle access card requests and cover mail room responsibilities as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 0-1 year of experience in a laboratory, facilities, hospitality, or customer service setting
- Strong interest in science, laboratory operations, or facility management
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Continuous improvement mindset
