• Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to apply appropriate pressure and techniques for effective treatment.
• Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology.
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all clients.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, stretching exercises, and wellness strategies to enhance their overall health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Requirements
• Valid state license as a Massage Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience or training in pain management techniques and various massage modalities.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively to identify specific needs.
• Understanding of occupational health principles is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
