Start Date: Training to start a minimum of 2 weeks from hire
Commitment: All candidates would be making a commitment to a position for one year at a minimum.
Hours: Staff are scheduled between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Monday - Friday based on availability. Full-time and part-time positions available.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Teaching God's Word through stories, song and teachable moments
- Plan, implement and supervise classroom lesson plans that are consistent with the mission of JLU Child Care.
- Knowledge and compliance of all state regulations governing the operation of the center.
- Communicating with parents during parent drop off and pick-up
- Cleaning the classroom and equipment throughout the day as needed
- Caring for basic needs of children including serving meals and helping with potty training
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- HS diploma is required at minimum
- Experience related to caring for children, preferably in a childcare setting
- Desire to share God's love to children and families
Pay & Benefits
- $16.25- $17.25 per hour to start
- Starting pay rate determined by education, experience and availability
