Toddler Teacher

We are seeking Toddler Teachers to care, play with and love our energetic toddlers! No experience needed - all staff will be provided with necessary training. We are looking for candidates with a willingness to learn, work hard, and will stay dedicated to the students and mission.

Staff schedules are received at least one week in advance, there are no weekend hours, employees are only required to work scheduled hours, and they are rewarded when asked to work additional hours.

Start Date: ASAP
Full-time Hours: 25 - 40 hours/week, Staff are scheduled between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Monday - Friday based on availability

Part-time Hours: 15 - 25 hours/week, Staff need to be available at a minimum 2:00 - 6:15 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Description of Responsibilities:

• Teaching God's Word through stories, song and teachable moments
• Plan, implement and supervise classroom lesson plans that are consistent with the mission of JLU Child Care.
• Knowledge and compliance of all state regulations governing the operation of the center.
• Communicating with parents during parent drop off and pick-up
• Cleaning the classroom and equipment throughout the day as needed
• Caring for basic needs of children including serving meals and helping with potty training
• Desire to share God's love to children and families

Must meet one of the following criteria for lead teacher consideration:

• HS diploma is required at minimum
• Experience related to caring for children, preferably in a childcare setting
• Desire to share God's love to children and families

Pay & Benefits

• $16.00 - $18.00 per hour to start
• Starting pay rate determined by education, experience and availability
