As a Residential Construction Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. You'll work closely with architects, designers, and homeowners to understand their project vision and provide tailored solutions that align with their needs and budget. This role requires a balance of sales acumen and industry knowledge, as you will be the client's primary point of contact throughout the pre-construction phase.
What You'll Do
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, partnerships, and marketing efforts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and industry professionals to drive referrals.
- Present JLV's construction services to prospective clients, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Work closely with estimating and project management teams to create accurate proposals.
- Ensure a seamless sales-to-construction handoff, setting clear expectations for clients.
- Track sales performance and market trends to continuously refine sales tactics.
- 3 or more years of sales experience in residential construction, remodeling, or building materials, with the ability to understand plans and processes.
- Strong sales skills and experience, with the ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Experience working with high-end clients and luxury projects is a plus.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and blueprints.
- CRM experience and ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Co-construct preferred).
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record, as the role may require site visits.
- Willingness to relocate to the New Orleans area is preferred.
