What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wood Finisher position at JM Cabinets Inc.?
We are a small Custom Cabinet manufacturer in Lake Placid, FL with 7 employees looking to add one more for multiple duties but the main responsibility of the employee will be wood finisher. Having any experience in finishing whether it is wood finishing or automotive finishing will help to be hired. We use air assisted airless spray guns for our finishing application. There is prep work involved such as sanding to get the product to condition ready for primer or paint. We will provide proper personal protective equipment for employees to ensure safety. Pay will be based on experience. Employee must have valid drivers license. The responsibilities of the employee will be but not limited to the following:
Employee Character
- Reliable; for cabinet finisher we need an individual who is reliable every day to keep our scheduled installs on time.
- Trustworthy; We need an employee who we can trust that will complete tasks when deadlines are given.
- Honesty; The employee needs to be honest about all situations.
Work Experience
- Work experience is not required for this position but would help to be hired.
Skills
- Understand ratios for mixing paint
- We do spray M.L. Campbell products so knowledge with these products would be helpful.
- Comfortable working with power tools and Pneumatic tools
- ability to learn quickly without taking constructive criticism personally
- Willingness to learn multiple responsibilities in the shop'
