Position Summary
Huber Engineered Woods (HEW), a division of J.M. Huber Corporation, combines its advanced adhesives and wood product technologies with state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to produce premium structural wood panel products. Innovative construction products like AdvanTech® subflooring and ZIP System® sheathing have changed the way homes and buildings go together. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Relieves equipment operators as directed for breaks, absences, or vacations
- Cleans main process, log conditioning and finishing building
- Assist operators with start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
- Maintains cleanliness of assigned work areas
- Notifies Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor and maintenance department of any equipment problems
- Performs other duties that may be assigned to operate the plant
- Individual must be able to perform his job by working in high places including stairs, platforms, scaffolding, and decks
- Must be able to operate equipment including but not limited to, forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, Skid steer and front-end loaders, on occasion
Physical Requirements
Conditions
Works indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions often exposed to heat, cold, inclement weather, grease, oils, dust and dirty working conditions. Work involves standing, climbing, walking on elevated catwalks and occasionally lifting heavy objects (50 lbs. or more).

High School Diploma
GED in General Studies
