We are seeking an experienced and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead and expand our market presence in the building materials and construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the residential and commercial construction sectors, with a proven ability to develop relationships with contractors and drive sales growth. This position will require effective leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the products and services that meet the needs of both residential and commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sales operations within the assigned district, achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive new business development by identifying opportunities within the market, fostering growth with new customers, and enhancing relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, and logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project delivery.
- Provide market intelligence, including competitor analysis, industry trends, and customer feedback, to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
- Monitor sales metrics, track progress toward district goals, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Conduct regular training and support for sales representatives within the district to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and programs to increase market share and enhance profitability in the district.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in sales within the building materials and construction industry, with a focus on residential and commercial contractors.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other industry professionals.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and the challenges faced by contractors in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
