Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Oversee and lead HVAC installation projects, ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
- Act as the lead installer on commercial projects, ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage installation schedules, coordinate tasks, and ensure proper sequencing of work.
- Work directly with General Contractors, Project Managers, and team members to align on project expectations and execution.
- Conduct site visits to verify job readiness, troubleshoot challenges, and provide solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of installers, mentoring them on best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills.
- Provide on-the-job training to improve team efficiency, installation quality, and overall skill level.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional growth and accountability.
- Ensure proper installation of ductwork, piping, controls, and HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Perform system testing, startup, and commissioning to verify functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site to maintain smooth project flow.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure projects meet company quality expectations.
- Manage job schedules, resources, and manpower to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment setup, and jobsite logistics.
- Communicate project updates and challenges with management and field teams.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA standards.
- 10 years of HVAC installation experience, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Proven ability to lead crews, manage schedules, and coordinate with General Contractors.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- VRF system experience is preferred but not required.
- HVAC certifications and licenses are a plus.
