Large resort in Charlotte Harbor, FL is looking for a Manager of Facilities & Maintenance- Major Mechanical
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing major mechanical systems, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
- Technical certification in kitchen equipment maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Technical certification in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience in team leadership, training, and vendor coordination.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (preferred).
Responsibilities:
- The Manager of Facilities and Maintenance - Major Mechanicals plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of all resort major mechanicals. This role requires expertise in plumbing, pump systems, chiller plants, boilers, cooling towers, lift stations, and other hotel mechanical systems. The manager is responsible for maintaining optimal mechanical system performance, implementing preventive maintenance programs, overseeing a team, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations. This role will support the Chief Engineer.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
