What are the responsibilities and job description for the Log Truck Driver position at JM Longyear LLC?

We are looking for an experienced Log Truck Driver to join our team. Safety is our top priority. Duties include:
- Operate log truck safely consistent with Company, local, state and federal DOT transportation and safety regulations
- Transport wood products to/from job sites, log yards and customers during day, evening or overnight hours
- Perform maintenance tasks according to regulations
- Maintain trip tickets and scale slips for loads hauled
- Utilize tablets and maintain ELD compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school graduate or GED
- Class A CDL
- 5 years experience as a log truck driver preferred
- Working knowledge of State and DOT regulations
- Tablet and smart phone experience, ELD experience
- Excellent safety & driving record
- Team Player
