Paving Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Paving Crew Members to join our team in the Blacktop paving industry. As a Paving Crew Member, you will play a vital role in various Blacktop Paving projects, working collaboratively with your team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

These positions that need to be filled are as follows:

Class A or B NYS CDL Drivers License to operate Tri axel Dump Truck

Experienced Paver Operator

Experienced Blacktop Raker

Experienced Skid Steer and Excavator Operator

General Laborer (experience helpful but not necessary)

Duties

• Assist in building and installation tasks on paving sites.
• Perform digging and excavation duties as needed.
• Engage in Blacktop finishing processes to ensure high-quality results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Skills

• Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment operation.
• Experience in installation processes related to Asphalt work.
• Ability to operate loaders and Asphalt paving equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with Blacktop finishing techniques is highly desirable.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as digging and lifting materials.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
