Veterinary Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team at JM Pet Resort & Veterinary Clinic located in Brockton MA right off of RT 24. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will provide compassionate care to patients, assist in medical and surgical procedures, and contribute to our mission of delivering 360° of Happy Health® to pets.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide compassionate care to patients and assist in medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Perform clinical laboratory procedures and maintain test results.
• Take radiographs, and administer EKGs and EEGs.
• Admit and discharge patients, counsel clients on animal care and medications.
• Clean surgical materials, stock the operating room, and follow instructions accurately.
• Assist in anesthesia and monitoring procedures, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting the doctor during procedures

Compensation:

Veterinary Technician: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT): $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Education

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) desirable.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
