What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Analyst, you will maintain existing client relationships and focuses on property tax and incentive planning opportunities. This includes researching issues, reviewing assessable property tax assessments, maintaining company workpaper database, negotiating reduction settlements, and the preparation and presentation of assessment appeals and supporting documentation. You will also research available incentives, present and negotiate incentive requests, and document secured benefits and findings to help our clients receive and save money.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
· Compliance with Firm policies and practice guidelines to ensure they are meeting set company standards.
· Manage and monitors all aspects of the annual property tax cycle for assigned personal property portfolios ensuring they are accurate and meeting deadlines.
· Develop client workplans and schedules for associated project deliverables to ensure work is completed well in advance of deadlines.
· May inspect properties, where required, to gather additional information and ensure we are getting accurate tax valuations.
· Obtain and review assessor worksheets and property records, where required, to analyze and ensure accuracy.
· Prepare independent target values for each property assigned using appropriate asset segregation and analysis.
· Assist with managing client communication, prepare and assist with conducting client presentations, and respond in a timely manner to ensure we are exceeding the clients’ expectations.
· Review and reconcile client data and identifies tax issues to research and try and receive or save money for clients.
· Manage your own assignments, while fostering a team environment that demonstrates support of firm management and decisions while building a positive culture of collaboration.
· Manage all aspects of the appeal process (informal, formal, and litigation) and report status and results to firm management.
Position Requirements:
· Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred with courses in Real Estate strongly preferred; will consider Degrees in Business Administration or Mathematics with related property tax experience.
· Experience: New graduates encouraged to apply. Strong preference for graduates who have completed related internships or work experience in Real Estate and/or Personal Business Property Tax.
· Functional Skills: Excellent planning, organization, and executing skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking; direct experience in moving from project to project, priority to priority on a daily basis; excellent thoroughness, attention to detail, with the ability to work well within tight due dates and meet deadlines.
· Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced MicroSoft Office Skillset in Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, Strong background with property tax systems preferred (i.e. JetPack, PTMS, Appeal Track, etc.)
· Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will interact with key customers, leaders, team members, and the community on a regular basis.
· Leadership/Behaviors: Must be forward-thinking, customer-focused, process/project driven. Requires strong relationship-building and collaboration, a team player and approachable. Position Requirements:

· Experience: 3 plus years in business personal property tax and/or asset audit/reconciliation as a Senior Analyst strongly preferred. Will consider a staff analyst with commensurate experience level.
· Functional Skills: Excellent planning, organization, and executing skills; strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking; direct experience in moving from project to project, priority to priority on a daily basis; excellent thoroughness, attention to detail, with the ability to work well within tight due dates and work ahead of deadlines.
· Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office Skills in Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, Strong background with property tax systems preferred (i.e. JetPack, PTMS, Appeal Track, etc.) Experience utilizing pivot tables as part of work strategy.
