JM Test Systems is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Delivery Personnel to represent our company in delivering and picking up equipment, paperwork, and raw materials across the Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa regions. This role involves ensuring timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and maintaining the safety and integrity of the equipment. - Represent JM Test Systems to external customers in a professional manner.
- Deliver and pick up equipment, paperwork, and raw materials across the Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa regions as directed by the Logistics Coordinator and Management.
- Ensure safety standards are met while performing duties, including loading/unloading materials and operating a company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment pick-up, delivery, and turnaround times.
- Maintain customer relationships by addressing needs and providing top-notch service.
- Ensure a neat and clean appearance as a representative of JM Test Systems.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate repairs/services as required.
- Follow best safety practices when driving, loading, unloading, and at customer facilities.
- Meet daily deadlines and communicate any exceptions to the dispatch coordinator.
- Conduct daily check-ins with the logistics coordinator.
- Obtain customer signatures and organize necessary documents for submission to corporate.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs or more, with a dolly available as needed).
- Perform tasks requiring bending and hauling/moving equipment by hand.
- Ability to travel long distances and make overnight stays.
- Early start times and on-call availability (minimal).
- Ability to work 10-12 hours per day, typical but not guaranteed.
