Job Description
JMA Solutions, a leading government contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration, has a full-time opportunity for an Electrical Technician IV providing assistance to the National Airspace System (NAS) Engineering Air Route Radar Systems and NAS Defense Programs (NDP) located in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is primarily responsible for providing maintenance, repairs and logistical support to the Long Range Radar Engineering group. Determines technical requirements for functional improvements or major system enhancements. Develops and provides guidance for system users and other technical support staff on system functionality and support requirements.
Duties include
- Provide Level 1 technical support to the ATSS technicians (local ARSR4 and CARSR site technicians across the NAS). This includes traveling to the radar sites.
- Monitor the functionality and the availability of the ARSR4s and CARSR radars across the NAS.
- Perform logistical and maintenance activities to include removing / repairing / replacing new and existing assets and document status, issues,and / or upgrades accordingly in the automated tracking system.
- Track repairs of the radars being made by the local ATSS technicians.
- Support the availability of radar modifications made by the Engineering teams.
- Provide Level 2 TCS support (Transmitter Cooling System) repairs and condenser changeout.
- Maintenance and Deployment of the NDP mobile HVAC Trailers to provide cooling redundancy.
- Provide trip reports outlining the purpose, details, and resolution.
- Participate in a SCRUM / Agile management environment.
- Regularly submit travel requests and expense reports to Accounting.
- Provide Help Line telephonic support during normal business hours between the
hours of 0600 - 1700 local time.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION : High School Diploma is required.
SALARY : $73,000 - $78,000 depending on experience and education level. JMA offers a full benefits package with vision, health, dental as well as a 401k match and life insurance.
