Job Description
JMA Solutions, LLC, a dynamic information services firm with headquarters in Washington, D.C. is seeking an Engineering Technician II to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Control Center (FAALC) in Oklahoma. ( Relocation BONUS is available ) . The Contractor shall perform troubleshooting, tear-down, repair, refurbishment, overhaul, assembly, testing, and installation services for designated equipment at the request of FAALC Product Divisions or Groups.
Duties include, but not limited to :
- Perform serviceability testing of assets located at designated facilities (e.g. FAALC, CBP, Forest Service) prior to shipping to repair vendors for evaluation.
- Perform preventive / corrective maintenance and repairs, in accordance with (IAW) original equipment manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, and document the status, issues, and / or updates accordingly through the designated process and n a Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Report.
- Monitor and document the serviceable and repairable condition of assets in the Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS) or other automated tracking systems.
- Document generator repairs as it pertains to all generators in support of Government systems in the ILSS or other automated tracking systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair and document repairs of Government assets in the Asset Repair Reports.
- Manage and document the installation of Government assets in the ILSS or other automated tracking systems.
- Perform maintenance activities to include removing / repairing / replacing new and existing assets and document status, issues, and / or upgrades accordingly in the ILSS or other automated tracking systems.
- Provide inputs for the development of work instructions and test procedures.
- Maintain booms, Big Foot leveling systems, and related hydraulic systems for mobile CBP systems and document status, issues and / or updates accordingly in the ILSS or other automated tracking systems.
- Provide limited support for Service Life Extension Programs (SLEP) activities to include performing hardware and software upgrades, and provide recommendations for hardware and software changes and / or updates.
- Provide Help Line telephonic support during normal business hours between the hours of 0600 - 1800 local time.
- Produce system-generated reports for Service Requests and Work Orders. The Government will provide the repair parts, to include site spares, test equipment, and support equipment, through ILSS.
