Technical Project Manager - (TLLRRB_COMPANY_1) JMA Solutions has a full-time opportunity available for a part-time Technical Project Manager to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Technical Project Manager will provide technical leadership to a diverse team of software developers, testers, and system integrators. The Technical Project Manager will oversee all aspects of managing the project including scheduling, SDLC, QA, and other project management duties. This position is located in Washington, D.C., but with a potential to work remotely.Duties will include, but are not limited to : Provides overall technical leadership, management, and administrative support for one or more software applications.Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with the CO and COR on technical program / project issues.Supervise daily operations by developing technical and management procedures, maintaining the project schedule(s) to support the planning and execution of the project effort.Monitoring and reporting on project progress, purchasing and tracking project consumables, and managing program / project resources (local and remote).Management and control of financial and administrative aspects of the program / project with respect to delivery order requirements.Provides oversight on software development progress, reviews of requirements, and participates in quality assurance efforts.Communicates proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement improvements.Development of Program Management Reviews, Monthly Status, and Monthly Financial Reports.Job Requirements : Project Management Professional (PMP)All aspects of Project Management methodology and processesProficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioProficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience with Agile software development and other SDLCsExperience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT & BitBucketTechnical Writing / SoftwareExperience with Configuration Management processes and proceduresApproximately 27 hours a weekEDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in management or related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience.SALARY : $109,000 - $119,000 depending on experience and education levels.JMA offers a full benefits package including vision, health, dental, life insurance, as well as a 401k match.
