Position Overview:
This position is part of team providing the USCENTCOM J2 with consolidated intelligence analysis and support activities involving all-source intelligence analysis, reporting, intelligence operations and international intelligence, engagements, exercises, ISR synchronization and intelligence planning, along with IT support facilities management, training and Special Security Office support. These activities at the J2 support USCENTCOM components, deployed forces, other DoD agencies, and Combatant Commands around the world.
Key Functions and Tasks:
- Coordinate Command Service components , Services, SOF, and national IC Exploitation activities .
- Ensure and senior leaders have timely situational awareness of ongoing and planned exploitation-related activities
- Drafting and submitting military orders to enable exploitation operations
- Staff exploitation-related information papers to Command or other senior staff elements for awareness and de-confliction.
- Participate in Unified Exploitation (UE) working groups and workshops to ensure Exploitation equities are addressed
- Coordinate with DoD and National exploitation stakeholders
- Develop a proposed theater exploitation architecture. CEM flow design. and SOPs for exploitation operations.
- Assist in crisis and contingency planning for exploitation.
- Draft Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) planning documents
- Participate in intelligence Planning Team sessions representing theater exploitation equities.
- Support exploitation requirements with Command exercise planning, scripts and execution
Qualifications and Requirements
- Clearance: TS/SCI, with CI Poly- Required
- Desired Experience: Minimum 3-10 years of experience related to intelligence activities, collection management, intelligence requirements activities, exercise support, intelligence data base management with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
- Desired Education: Bachelor’s from an accredited college or university:
- Strong Collection management skills and proven Command or theater collection management experience
- Strong understanding of Combatant Commander and Staff requirements and the experience to impactfully support theater campaign planning and operations
- Proven skills and tools usage to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, documentation, and data base filings in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), electronic / soft copy matrices and / or web-enabled formats.
- Able to communicate complex issues both verbally and non-verbally
- Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms experiences to fully execute the tasks involved with for multi-INT operations, data management, analytics and related skills
- Proven skills to work collaboratively with other IC members on information sharing, data analysis, data products, driving collection, or addressing analytic differences
