Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage taskers, Congressional inquiries, reports, and briefings related to OASD(S&T)-managed requirements.
- Prepare annual and ad hoc reports for Congressional stakeholders.
- Compile and synthesize technical data into clear, contextualized materials for senior-level decision-makers.
- Support technical consulting efforts on complex S&T programs.
- Assist in the development and refinement of procedures addressing science and technology issues.
- Organize and support meetings, track action items, and publish meeting minutes.
- Maintain configuration management and quality control for all assignments, ensuring deadlines are met and products are complete.
- Create presentation materials, talking points, and briefs for senior DoD officials engaging with a variety of audiences.
- Ensure document consistency and adherence to templates, formatting standards, and policy guidance.
- Rapidly develop responses and materials for short-notice taskers from DoD leadership.
- Draft and distribute correspondence, including memos and official letters, to both government and civilian personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in public policy, international relations, science and technology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a professional environment supporting federal agencies or science and technology initiatives.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with DoD or federal government operations preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
