Job Title: Security Specialist Technician

Location: USCENTCOM Headquarters, Building 565

Position Overview: This position is an integral part of a team supporting the USCENTCOM J2 with a variety of consolidated intelligence analysis and support activities. The contractor will be responsible for providing all-source intelligence analysis, reporting, intelligence operations, international intelligence engagements, exercises, ISR synchronization, and intelligence planning. Additionally, the role includes IT support, facilities management, training, and Special Security Office (SSO) support. The contractor will ensure the safeguarding of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCIFs by providing security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers within USCENTCOM's Top Secret (TS)/SCI offices and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort Support:
  Provide security escort support for custodial and uncleared workers in USCENTCOM’s TS/SCI offices and facilities.

  • Escort up to 10 uncleared workers per shift from 0600 - 1400 (1st shift), ensuring adherence to security protocols across three locations/floors simultaneously.
  • Escort up to 6 uncleared workers per shift from 1400 - 2200 (2nd shift).
  • Ensure no security violations occur during escorting of uncleared workers.

• Facility Monitor & Technician Support:
  Serve as a Facility Monitor Special Security Technician for Building 565, identifying and reporting any facility system malfunctions or issues.

  • Provide additional escort support for uncleared workers as needed.
  • Conduct Facility Inspections and submit inspection reports after every shift via email, including Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) inspection reports.

• Security and Compliance:
  Safeguard access control to SCI and SCIF areas, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  Maintain high-level security standards to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information.

• Operational Support:
  Support USCENTCOM components, deployed forces, other DoD agencies, and Combatant Commands around the world.
  Assist with coordination of intelligence operations, engagements, and exercises as needed.
  Provide intelligence planning and synchronization support to ensure seamless intelligence operations.

Shifts:

• 1st Shift (0600 - 1400): Escort up to 10 uncleared workers, managing multiple locations and ensuring no security violations.
• 2nd Shift (1400 - 2200): Escort up to 6 uncleared workers.
• 3rd Shift (2200 - 0600, Monday - Friday): Facility monitoring, troubleshooting, and escort support as required.
• Weekend Shift (Saturday 0600 - Monday 0600): Escort support, facility inspections, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Experience with intelligence operations, analysis, or related DoD functions is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high security standards and understand SCI access control protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform security escort duties across multiple locations simultaneously.
• Familiarity with facility management and special security procedures for SCIFs.
• Must have a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance, with SCI eligibility.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with leadership and other team members.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and complete inspection reports on time.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to escort workers across different facility locations and be on-site for extended hours during multiple shifts.
