Financial Reporting Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management of our organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, and the supervision of the accounting staff. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and supervision if all accounting department personnel.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to maintain efficient cash flow management.
• Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Controller in developing budgets and forecasts to guide strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate records of debits and credits to ensure proper accounting practices are followed.
• Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to streamline financial operations and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
