Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Onsite Manager to oversee workforce operations at our manufacturing client’s facility in South Sacramento, CA (ZIP Code 95828). This position is critical for ensuring staffing levels align with client needs, maintaining high performance and safety standards, and fostering a positive and compliant work environment. The Onsite Manager will act as the primary liaison between the client and our team, facilitating seamless communication and delivering tailored staffing solutions that consistently exceed expectations.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with a 1-hour break).
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main on-site point of contact, ensuring staffing needs align with client requirements.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Work closely with the office recruitment team to ensure timely placement of temporary associates while independently handling the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process to meet client needs and production goals.
- Onboarding & Tours: Oversee onboarding and conduct facility tours for new or prospective associates.
- Workforce Supervision: Oversee temporary associates to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards. Verify that all associates meet client expectations for performance, quality, and alignment with workplace requirements. Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues promptly.
- Staff Problem Resolution: Address staffing, performance, or attendance issues promptly to minimize disruptions to production, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Coaching & Performance Improvement: Provide coaching and development plans for associates needing performance improvement.
- Attendance Management and Timekeeping: Oversee attendance and punctuality, ensuring accurate reporting of hours worked and timely input into the system for payroll processing.
- Training & Development: Ensure associates are properly trained on processes, safety, and equipment. Provide ongoing coaching.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and support the workforce, by fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and positive collaboration.
- Retention & Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent, enhance job satisfaction, and create a productive and engaged work environment.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or manufacturing operations, with a focus on managing large teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and associates at all levels.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards, compliance regulations, and quality control processes.
- Proven ability to ensure staffing quality meets or exceeds client expectations, particularly in terms of performance, productivity, and fit.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and timekeeping or workforce management software.
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish, Farsi, Pashto, Dari, etc ) is a plus

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
