Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely assessment, intervention, and treatment. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work in a Level II Trauma Center, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage patients based on the severity of their conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including performing procedures such as spinal taps and cardiac catheterization.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing patient conditions.
- Provide hospice palliative medicine support for patients with terminal illnesses.
- Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room (OR).
- Document patient information accurately using ICD-10 coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of CT imaging and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in administering dermal fillers is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by the facility.

Pay: $78.00 - $80.00 per hour
