Position: Scrum Master
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Who are we looking for?
A senior level Scrum Master to manage a critical project in Insurance domain. The Individual should be passionate about getting results, experienced in leading and managing cutting edge technology applications.
Technical Skills:
· Facilitate Scrum events (daily standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review / Retrospectives, other meetings) as needed
· Help the product owner maintain the product backlog.
· Keeping the project’s stakeholders, up to date on the progress of the scrum team’s projects
· Help the team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint (or another period).
· Coach the development team in self-organization.
· Help to remove obstacles to the developers’ progress.
· Make sure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope.
· Help the team continuously make progress on the project by ensuring each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members’ progress, and protecting the team from distractions.
Process Skills:
· Should have good experience in running Scrum Teams
· Knowledge of annuities and mutual fund delivery, experienced scrum master to lead/manage teams.
Behavioral Skills:
· Participates and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
· Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
· Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
Certification:
· Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
