Scope:
- Need a Technical Writer for business processes to give the client the foundation for continual improvement of their products and processes allowing them to scale, meet the needs of our business, and the changing needs of our customers.
- Recording and detailing the steps, workflows, and procedures involved in completing a task or business process
Responsibilities:
- Create business process documentation (flow charts, processes, procedures, work instructions, template) through collaboration with process owners and SMEs. This may include Gather existing material, in various formats, and re-create clear and concise process documentation.
- Write, edit, and proofread documents, simplifying complex information into accessible formats for the correct audiences.
- Manage and improve the document library structure to enhance dependencies, searchability, control, and useability.
- Ensure documentation satisfies ISO 9001 requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation version controls
Desired skills:
- 10 years of previous experience in a similar role, creating business processes in dynamic companies, in an effort to build out effective quality systems.
- Must be able to write clear, compelling, and error-free content using information gathered from verbal input as well as existing documentation.
- Must have expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading documents, simplifying complex information into accessible formats for the correct audiences.
- Experience with ERP (Salesforce, Oracle, etc.) and other typical business systems
- Experience using Google office tools (Google docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides), flowchart software (Lucid Chart)
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 or similar environment.
- Paligo experience is a plus.
