Manufacturing Engineer III
- 6-month contract (chance of extension)
- 100% onsite in Hudson, NH
- 1st shift 9/80 work schedule
- 5-7 years of related experience is ideal
- Top Skills: Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, process development/design, equipment selection/integration, supply chain coordination, familiarity with industry standards (ie. AS9100, ITAR, and NADCAP), strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (ie. CNC machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, and testing).
Position Overview:
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing engineering roles, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, assembly, and testing. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100, ITAR, and NADCAP. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for process development and optimization.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams .Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
