JMG is in search of a full-time Investment Administration Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the Investment Administration Department and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operational functions for JMG Advisors, Associate Advisors, Management and employees.
This position reports directly to Operations Director and works in tandem with other departments and Advisor Teams to achieve desired results for client account administration. An understanding of portfolio accounting, finance, investments, asset allocation, alternative investment administration and estate planning concepts is required. Experience with Orion is preferred.
This is an exempt position that is eligible for hybrid remote work after the initial training period. The duties of this role would include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Administration of traditional and alternative investments including cost basis research, processing of securities litigation paperwork and client invoice preparation
- Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and servicing existing and new client accounts by processing; new account applications, advisory agreements, transfers of funds, and completing check requests
- Assist in the daily portfolio account reconciliation process
- Investment administration liaison between JMG and all custodians, sub-advisors and alternative investment managers
- Monitor operational systems and trading processes for effectiveness
- Assist with firmwide projects like onboarding and training of new employees and drafting firmwide correspondence
- Understands and complies with all industry and SEC rules and regulations
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred; 2 years prior experience in an investment administration or other back-office role(s)
Compensation: Exempt position, eligible for bonuses and full benefits including health, dental, vision, life, long-term disability and 401(k).

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
