Qualifications
As a Lead Valet, you will have the responsibility of...
- Accurately assigning, verifying, and distributing claim tickets
- Keeping driveway clear of any vehicle that does not require assistance
- Staff, work, and lead private valet events
- Send out texts using company phone list and schedule staff to work events. Schedule delivery of valet equipment.
- Supervisory experience and ability to lead and coach a group of 4-10 people.
- Customer service minded, friendly, and outgoing.
- Ability to think on your feet and adjust as needed.
- Good communication with valet manager.
- Ability to meet service levels and deadlines
- Responding to and resolving guest concerns
- Greeting all customers using Premium Parking customer service standards
- Training associates with established policies and procedures
For our Lead Valet Attendants, we look for...
- Valid license with 3 years driving experience
- No MAJOR violations (DUI, reckless driving, negligent homicide) in the past 7 years
- No more than two MINOR violations in the past year (accident, speeding)
- No suspensions within the last 3 years
- Ability to drive a stick shift
- 2 years of previous valet experience in the parking or related industry preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to communicate professionally and effectively with all personnel
- Flexible availability for events as business dictates
- Computer proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time
