What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer - Rubber position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with Process Engineering search in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor manufacturing processes – Utilize daily, weekly, monthly, and annual indicators such as yield, rate, manpower, and costs to identify opportunities for value creation.
- Technical expertise – Provide engineering perspective and answer general questions from machine operators regarding proper procedures and techniques. This includes routine observations of operations’ performance to ensure equipment is properly utilized.
- Execute process changes – develop and implement changes to procedures and work processes that will improve production efficiency, quality, and costs.
- Process expert/liaison for projects – interface with Director of Engineering to provide plant/process perspective for major equipment upgrades and expansions.
Requirements:
- Experience with Process Engineering in a rubber manufacturing operation
- Experience With Continuous Improvement Initiatives and methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
