What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Field Service Technician - Power Generation position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently supporting our client, an industrial manufacturer, in their search for a Remote Field Service Technician. This position offers overtime eligibility for hours worked beyond 40 per week and does not require any overnight travel.
The candidates must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Responsibilities:
- Will provide service support to customers by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining power generation equipment.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems, repairs or replaces defective units/components as appropriate
- Conduct equipment/system acceptance testing following established procedures.
- Complete customer site trainings and safety briefings as needed.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies, as well as wiring diagrams and schematics required.
- Customer interface and communication skills
- Good Driving Record (Company Provided Vehicle)
